What is that?
Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.
The parking lot at the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park Center is a spacious gravel area offering visitors a convenient place to park their vehicles before heading out on a hike. Designated pitches for overnight guests (marked as 'Park Overnight') are also located here.
The Ötschergräben gorges are a popular destination for nature lovers, hikers, and mountaineers, easily reachable in 45 minutes from the Wienerbruck Nature Park Center along the Lassingfall waterfall.
Next to the parking area, there is seating by the lake as well as barbecue facilities. Showers and restroom facilities are accessible 24/7. In fine weather, high visitor numbers can lead to noise early in the morning; the parking lot is primarily used by hikers who often arrive as early as 7:00 AM.
The on-site reception is open from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Catering at the Nature Park Center is available on weekends (as well as Fridays and Mondays in July and August).
Please note that there are no electricity hookups at the pitches. There are also no trash bins, as waste collection only takes place once a month in this secluded area. Guests are therefore kindly requested to take all their trash with them.

It was nice with a view of the reservoir where you can even spot a kingfisher.
Unfortunately, the pitch is also the general car park for visitors to the nature reserve, right next to the train station, meaning you basically don't get any peace and quiet all day because visitors are constantly walking by.
There are toilets and showers, but without any extra frills like a hairdryer.
For €30 per night, very little is offered to campers.
Still 4 stars, because I enjoyed a great day with a long hike and a fantastic view of the reservoir from my micro-camper.

We stayed there for 2 nights! I wouldn't call this a campsite, but rather a parking lot with shower and toilet facilities! There is exactly one toilet and 2 showers per gender... Fresh water had to be fetched from the toilet as there is no other option! 100 meters from the "campsite" is the village disco playing very loud music all night long; once the disco closes, the local youth hang out right next to the campsite—sleep is out of the question! Once and never again!!!

Bei der von dir erwähnten Lärmbelästigung handelte es sich zudem um eine einmalige Party in der Nachbarschaft, über die der Gastgeber leider nicht vorab informiert wurden. Nicely situated in the Naturepark entry. Picnic area, toilets and shower.
Top advice and support regarding hikes and registration for overnight stays.
Women's toilet and shower were okay. In the men's shower, the shower head in one of the stalls almost hit me, as it was broken and blasted off with full force by the water jet.
Price for an overnight stay for a car with two people for one night is too expensive compared to similar pitches. Even at some campsites, you get a better spot and a higher quality sanitary area.
Peace and quiet, hot shower, everything there as described.
Wonderful
Beautiful place for an overnight stop. We were a bit apprehensive when we first arrived as the car park was full (weekend ) - the lovely lady at reception said we could park against the fence and then move later when the car park quietened down (which it did). Could park where & how we liked to make the most of the lake view. Showers & toilet were clean. Even had a refreshing dip in the lake!
