Paradis "Cubili" dans le Doubs
France-25510 Le cubili
Your pitch is set on my non-working farm in a vast pasture dotted with idyllic groves of trees. Here, you'll find an oasis of peace, far away from it all, yet easily accessible. On site, you will find a mobile pizza oven, a covered dry-stone bar, and a scenic viewpoint. You are welcome to use the farm's amenities, such as the bathroom facilities and the kitchen. The nearest village, Pierrefontaine-les-Varans, is located in the Doubs department, about an hour from the Swiss border. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for hiking and discovering unique natural sites with waterfalls and springs. The banks of the Cours du Val and the Reverotte, as well as the marked trails in the Épaisses forest, have something to delight both casual walkers and experienced hikers alike. There are also trails for mountain bikers. For food lovers, I offer a variety of homemade delicacies crafted directly from my own produce.

Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quick peaceful and beautiful place. No issues whatsoever.
We were really looking forward to staying at this Nomady, especially after reading all the positive reviews.
The location itself is beautiful, peaceful, and offers plenty of privacy.
Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet our expectations. The washing-up area was covered with rat droppings, making it unusable, and the toilet appeared not to have been cleaned for quite some time. There were old toilet paper rolls left on the floor, and the toilet itself was in a very unhygienic condition.
We knew in advance that we would need to use the generator to produce electricity for our camper, and that was not an issue. The real problem was the cleanliness of the facilities. We had booked and paid for two nights, but we felt so uncomfortable with the condition of the facilities that we decided to leave early the morning after our first night.
We shared our feedback after our stay, but unfortunately we did not receive any response.
The location has a lot of potential, but the facilities need a proper deep clean. Once that has been done, it could be a really nice place to stay.
The site offers peace, wide views, and shade. Dominique is friendly, helpful, and responds quickly. Upon arrival, we couldn't get into the house – however, Dominique was there in no time, let us in, started the gas boiler and the fridge, and showed us how to operate the generator. Everything worked perfectly. The generator is quiet; we only had to run it for a short time whenever we wanted to go into the house in the evening. It's not far to go shopping in town – there is a bakery, a large cheese dairy, a small supermarket, etc.
This was my second time here and I'm still thrilled with the place. If you're looking for peace, seclusion, and a chance to slow down in nature, this is exactly the right spot. The place has everything you need. And it's really great that Dominique provides the old farmhouse. There's a toilet and shower there, which I didn't need, however, as I had everything with me. You can also refill water there. In addition, the house offers shelter during thunderstorms or a cool spot on hot afternoons. Many thanks, Dominique, for this place.
Nice place in the middle of a lot of nature. We stayed for a few nights and everything was nice!
It was beautiful and idyllic. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be happy to come back.
As a family, we were able to spend 4 days at 'Cubili'. The ideal pitch, as the weather was very changeable. The old farmhouse provided extra living space for the whole family to comfortably enjoy a raclette in front of the wood-burning stove. We had a toilet/shower and hot water the entire time. The diesel generator supplied electricity for the evening. Another highlight was the wood-fired stone pizza oven outside in the garden. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We can only highly recommend this place!!! Thank you very much for everything. The Zobrist family from Switzerland.
Overall very quiet and idyllically located. Unfortunately, the solar system didn't work, so we had to generate electricity/light using the diesel generator. (Light in the toilet only with a flashlight) The cottage has its charm but is quite old, as is the furniture.
