What is that?

Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.

Conveniently located parking area right by the outdoor swimming pool, offering stunning views of the Vogtsburg vineyards. This is the perfect starting point for hiking and cycling tours throughout the Kaiserstuhl region. On-site waste disposal and water supply station available. Caravans are also warmly welcome at our pitches, provided they are self-sufficient and do not require external infrastructure. Please note that electricity and sanitary facilities are not available at our municipal pitches. If these requirements are not met, staying overnight in a caravan is not permitted. According to the City of Vogtsburg's visitor tax regulations, all non-residents staying in the municipality are required to register and pay the visitor tax. The tax (€2.00 per person aged 15 and over, or €1.00 for children) is collected directly during the booking process. Upon payment, you will receive the KONUS Guest Card, which offers numerous discounts and allows you to use buses and trains for free throughout the entire region. You can collect your guest card at the Vogtsburg Citizen and Tourist Information Center. The parking area will be closed to motorhomes from May 14th through September 2026. The Citizen and Tourist Information Center is currently open as follows: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Saturday: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Two charging stations for electric cars are located at the town hall in Vogtsburg-Oberrotweil (Bahnhofstraße 20). In front of the Tourist Information Office, you will also find three free charging stations (each with 2 sockets) for e-bikes or small electronic devices (e.g., mobile phones). These charging stations can be used for a maximum of 12 hours; please remember to bring your own charger. Free public Wi-Fi is available at the town hall in Vogtsburg-Burkheim, Mittelstadt 7, where public restrooms are also located. The Vogtsburg disposal and supply station, as well as the fresh water station, are located right next to the Oberrotweil swimming pool and are available for use for a fee.

The cutoff is the latest check-in time set for this spot — not the end of the calendar day. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. *TIP* Oberrotweil Outdoor Pool from May 3, 2025 Enjoy a relaxing day at the Oberrotweil outdoor pool. The pool is located directly next to the car park. A large sunbathing lawn, a play area, and a kiosk with seating await you. Open: Mid-May to mid-September.

Unfortunately, there was no water and the toilet emptying didn't work either. It was also loud all night because of the road.

It's located on the main road, but it was quiet at night. The pitch size is good, but it's sloped. The trees on the bends are very inconveniently placed, making for a very tight radius. The price is expensive for zero infrastructure.

Everything is very straightforward once you have downloaded the MyCabin app. The swimming pool next door is great, of course. Unfortunately, it is currently being renovated.
