We initially had a beautiful but very sunny spot right by the river, but were later able to move to a cooler wooded area. The camp is adventurously beautiful. If you camp further down, you'll be doing a lot of walking (uphill/downhill), but that was fine for us even with a toddler. The sanitary facilities are sufficient, and the showers are great. The large communal kitchen is a great place to meet other campers. We had a lot of fun and actually hardly left the camp because the river with its pebble beach was so inviting to explore. On top of that, the owners are absolutely lovely and helpful. If we go to Slovenia again, we would definitely come back!
