A magical place waiting to be discovered, located on the southeast coast of Sardinia in the Sarrabus subregion. Sa Rutta means "the cave" in Sardinian. In this ancient and secluded spot, once the land of shepherds and farmers, we invite you to enjoy a unique experience. Your campsite is immersed in nature and can only be reached via an unpaved road (approx. 20 minutes). A high-clearance vehicle is required, preferably a 4x4. This experience is ideal for anyone looking for a wild and adventurous stay. The pitch is flat and spacious enough to accommodate vehicles up to 6 meters in length. Just a few steps away, you will reach scenic viewpoints with unobstructed vistas of the sea and Murtas beach. Essential amenities are conveniently located nearby: toilet, hot shower, and running water (non-potable). In the shade of the trees, a relaxation area with hammocks awaits you. You can also book a traditional Sardinian dinner prepared by renowned local chefs. And if you are looking for even more adventure, you can book quad biking, trekking, e-bike, or kayak tours to explore the region.

Very special! We happened to be completely alone and the place was magical. Well worth a stop on an off-road trip! It even includes clean sanitary facilities and running water for washing dishes. Totally unexpected! Many thanks to Marc and Adriano! Really cool! Unfortunately, we missed dinner – but it can only be good!

For this route, the vehicle requires sufficient ground clearance, low-range gearing, and off-road tires. The Sardinian dinner is highly recommended and the guys are very hospitable. View, sanitary facilities, atmosphere – everything was top-notch! We highly recommend this adventure.

Thanks Adriano for the great welcome at the agreed meeting point. We had the nicest bathroom of our entire camping holiday at your place. We enjoyed our time; the route was demanding, but no problem with a 4x4 and a bit of off-road experience. Thanks Adriano for everything, the Swiss crew.

It was fantastic and uniquely beautiful! The nature, the tranquility, the animals - a bit of an Africa feeling! Highly recommended for anyone with a suitable vehicle (the road was a challenge even with a Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 - but a beautiful one ;-)). Adriano picked us up and we could follow him; it would have been difficult to find on our own. He was very nice and showed us everything. Everything was clean: shower, toilet, kitchen. A super great experience!

Wonderful, quiet pitch in the middle of nature – not a soul in sight, just a few goats. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The site is well-equipped and offers plenty of extras.
