Tipico roccolo ticinese

Switzerland-6834 Morbio Inferiore
Located at the entrance to the Muggio Valley, our Roccolo is a tower house built in 1902 and used for bird catching until the 1950s. Today, it has been restored and serves as an observation point for local birdlife. Spend your holiday in this roccolo nestled among the Morbio vineyards. With 2.5 rooms, it comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. Light the fireplace and enjoy the peace and quiet with a fine glass of local wine (wine crate available on site). Beds are made upon arrival and bed linen is provided. The kitchen is fully equipped, and fresh towels are ready in the bathroom. Upon request, it is possible to visit the winery in Cabbio and taste local wines and regional products. ID Number: NL-00001354

A wonderful roccolo right in the middle of the vineyards. Equipped with everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay. The welcome was warm and uncomplicated.
The reception wasn't quite as expected. Otherwise, though, everything was fine.
In good weather, it is a lovely little house to linger and find peace and quiet. We really enjoyed the sunny days, and the hospitality provided by Martha (the daughter of Grazia and Luciana) was very friendly and kind.
The accommodation is in a lovely, romantic location in the middle of the vineyards and is equipped with everything you need. The hosts were very friendly and uncomplicated. There were three of us and we would have loved to stay longer.
The accommodation is in a great location and practically furnished. It is very quiet and the view is wonderful. The double bed is comfortable. However, the bunk bed seems a bit unstable as it wobbles quite a lot when climbing up and moving around. Nevertheless, I would return to this wonderful accommodation again and again. :)
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in the extremely cozy, well-equipped, and clean rustico set right in the vineyard. Birdsong, the chirping of crickets, and the gentle chiming of bells provided the backdrop—simply wonderful 🤩!
The Roccolo is idyllically situated in the midst of the Mendrisiotto vineyards. Not too far from the center, but far enough to enjoy a break away from everyday life. The accommodation is very simple, but has that typical Ticino charm and is equipped with everything you need for a stay. I was delighted to find ground coffee ready for making my morning moka, as well as the most essential spices for cooking. I was able to work on my computer undisturbed, leaving the windows open and occasionally enjoying the wonderful distant view. My parents were thrilled with the location, which allowed them to explore the area, and with the outdoor terrace where they could relax upon returning in the evening. The hosts gave us a very warm welcome. Grazia had some great tips on what to do in the region and kindly suggested a wine and pizza tasting. Thank you very much, we would gladly come again.
First impression charming, beautiful from the outside, but unfortunately the second impression was not satisfactory. On the lower floor, there were moldy walls and it smelled of chemicals. The upper floor has a nice view, but you can only access the attic with a ladder that isn't fixed. When we were surprised by scorpions in the house in the evening, alongside moths and insects, we cut our stay short. After a long discussion, we at least got half of our money back.
