Schopf an ruhiger Lage

The weather was dreamily beautiful, so we didn't sleep in the barn, but outside in front of it on a camp bed. The view was great and the night sky was insanely gorgeous! In the afternoon, we got to experience a show of 7 birds of prey in the sky, we were able to "greet" a little fox, a deer, and a squirrel nearby, and you can discover countless awesome spiders & beetles. Since we travel with our dog, proximity to water and plenty of nature/seclusion are very important to us. There was a well with spring water. Unfortunately, it was full of algae and the water kept cutting out, which was a bit of a shame, but that was just a minor side issue. We didn't meet Miika, but instead had a really lovely chat with his father. Anyone who doesn't arrive with a 4x4, like us, should definitely bring a handcart/wagon. It was worth its weight in gold, because the walk up is a bit steep on foot and the grass in the meadow was very high. With the wagon, you can forge a small path and we didn't have to make so many trips back and forth :) The person(s) before us left their trash there. Since our principle is to leave places better than we found them, we took the trash with us. In the end, our dog found the 4 days super great, and we can recommend it too! Unfortunately for us, compared to other spots, this one was a bit too expensive. Still, thank you very much for the lovely stay ❤️
