Thun, the beautiful city with its castle, is considered the gateway to the Bernese Oberland. From here, a rubber boat tour on the Aare River towards Bern is highly recommended. Of course, a trip to Schilthorn, where James Bond left his mark, and to Jungfraujoch are absolute musts. The Simmental valley, with its charming chalet villages and the Simmental House Trail, is definitely worth a visit. You can also explore the Eiger village of Grindelwald and the Lauterbrunnen Valley with its stunning waterfalls. Whether you prefer hiking, tobogganing, or rowing boat trips, Lake Oeschinen in Kandertal offers it all. Your nature experience is guaranteed! For families with small children, the Grimmimutz play and adventure trail in Diemtigtal is a wonderful alternative for a successful family outing.
