'Waldfarm' im Natura 2000

Germany-29413 Diesdorf
On our farm, bordering Natura 2000, with its own small forest and surrounded by fields and other woodlands, you can camp (also possible in the forest) in the orchard or next to the horse paddocks and enclosures, the sheep or mini-pig pens. Electricity hook-up is available near the house, and well water can be used. Wi-Fi guest access can be activated upon request. You can use the toilet and shower in the house. In the nearby village, there's a paved communal parking area for campers/RVs where you can empty your chemical toilet and purchase fresh water affordably. The nearby village (less than 3 km away, easily reachable by bike via the cycle path) offers a bakery, general store, kebab shop, butcher, village museum, ice cream parlor, beverage market, public swimming pool, etc. There's also a restaurant in the village. And we are, so to speak, located near the Romanesque Road, which boasts several attractions. These can be explored by hiking or cycling in the vicinity, or on day trips by car, public transport, or RV. In the forest, you can often spot deer, squirrels, and birds of all kinds. Binoculars are provided. In the mornings, our cranes love to call during mating season or in their courtship flight. Newts, lizards, and other creatures can also be discovered here and there. If you wish, you can purchase a hypnomassage or other relaxation techniques from me. It's also perfectly possible to prepare something in the house or barbecue on the farm. You can also get cozy in the evenings (by arrangement) with a campfire at the designated spot – or enjoy a pleasant chat on the veranda or in the conservatory with a glass of wine or tea, etc., or simply soak in the idyllic atmosphere. If you're quiet, even the deer will come by. We can be seen outside when the animals are being cared for or other tasks need to be done. We try to complete these types of tasks before or after your stay. If you'd like to help (or have us help you), that's also possible. We have games and activities for children. The animals can be observed and, in our presence, also petted and cuddled. During harvest season, apples, pears, mirabelle plums, plums, and greengages, etc., can be picked and eaten. I have a juicer, and you can make your own jam in the kitchen or – soon – purchase freshly made jam from me. In case of bad weather, campers can find shelter in the barn or the conservatory.

A truly wonderful place to relax. Marion is a perfect host. Warm regards, until next time Jeannette
My sister and I spent two nights at the Waldfarm. We really enjoyed our stay - we would recommend the Waldfarm anytime! Marion is an open and friendly host. The animals are great too, and the grounds are quiet and natural.
We were given a very warm welcome by Marion. The pitch is beautiful - you couldn't be closer to nature. We had a very quiet night with a fantastic starry sky and moonrise. We would love to come back. Best regards, Ina and Andreas
A beautiful spot on earth and a very lovely host. 😊
Everything you need is there! The road is not suitable for lowered vehicles. Lovely "host" who has her heart in the right place - a great lover of animals and people - highly recommended!
Traveling to the North Sea with our caravan, we planned Marion's Waldfarm as a one-night stopover. It would have been better to plan for at least two nights, as we received a very warm welcome in a true little paradise; our three children protest and insist: a big paradise! Marion took a lot of time to show us everything. She patiently showed the kids the sheep and horses and explained so much to them. We were allowed to pick pears, plums, greengages, and figs. It is wonderful that Marion shares her haven of peace so openly in this way. For us, it was a short but very enriching stay that we can recommend without reservation – on our way back home, we definitely want to return and will plan more than just one night!
I received a very warm welcome and farewell. I'm on my way to the North Cape and only stayed for one night. Really a pity. It is absolutely peaceful and quiet at Marion's place. During the walk with my dog Finn, we saw a lot of deer. A great place. Great hosts. I recommend staying at least 2 nights to relax for a full day on the farm.
I had a wonderful time at the Waldfarm! It is such a beautiful and peaceful place where you can simply unwind, right in the middle of stunning nature. Marion and her husband are fantastic hosts, very friendly, courteous, and helpful. It really felt like visiting friends. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely come back. Many heartfelt thanks to Marion and her husband!
