Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.

The motorhome pitch at Tiergrüble, nestled between Herrenschwand and Tunau, offers a secluded retreat on the rarely used Fuchswaldstraße. This connecting road between Schönau im Schwarzwald and Herrenschwand is open during the summer months. The pitch is wonderfully shaded, making it ideal for hot summer days, allowing you to breathe in the 'fresh' air at over 1,000 meters above sea level. It's the perfect starting point for both leisurely hikes and more ambitious cycling tours. At Tiergrüble, you're just a stone's throw from a high plateau where the charming mountain village of Herrenschwand is situated. Further down in the valley, a wealth of excursion possibilities await!

A vast network of hiking and cycling trails opens up the Southern Black Forest, connecting the holiday region between Belchen and Feldberg. Outdoor lovers will be thrilled with the via ferrata in Todtnau and the swimming lakes at Nonnenmattweiher, Windgfällweiher, Titisee, and Schluchsee. Well-known excursions in the region also include the 1,414-meter-high local mountain, Belchen, the Todtnau Waterfall with the "blackforestline" – a 450-meter-long suspension bridge over the Todtnau Waterfalls – or the Coaster Bahn at Hasenhorn in Todtnau. Upon presentation of your booking confirmation, guests in the Black Forest Belchen region receive the KONUS guest card, allowing you to travel free of charge on buses and trains throughout the entire Black Forest. This means you can easily leave your car behind and also enjoy various discounts and free services.

We stayed for two nights at the overnight parking area. It is beautifully located in the Black Forest. Shops are about 5–6 km away. It was quiet, clean, welcoming, and great for relaxing – everything you need. Thanks, would love to come back! :)

Beautiful forest spot with a small hut – there are also tables and benches. Pure peace and idyll. Only a few cars pass by, with more cyclists on the weekend. Would love to come back!
