Yourte de l'Alpage de Corbyre

Switzerland-3963 Lens
Back to your roots... This beautiful and comfortably furnished yurt accommodates up to four guests and is set in the heart of a vast alpine pasture where 80 Hérens cows graze. At 1,700 meters above sea level, take in breathtaking panoramic views of the highest peaks of the Swiss Alps. During the alpine grazing season, this is the perfect place to leave all your stress behind. A rustic alpine breakfast is included. Discover how traditional alpine life has adapted to the modern world while enjoying the comfort of a Mongolian yurt, the traditional nomadic dwelling originating in Central Asia. You will also have the opportunity to watch cows being milked and artisan cheese being crafted. From the pasture, a 30-minute walk takes you to the gondola that carries you up to Cry d'Er at 2,300 meters above sea level. Two charming alpine restaurants are within walking distance (15 or 60 minutes away).

What a truly special moment our family shared at this spectacular piece of heaven! Stef & Leila are two very special people. The ultimate hosts who share their world on the mountain at the alpage with such grace and warmth. The yurt is perfect. The location is stunning, and you will never meet two more wonderful hosts. Thank you Stef & Leila we shall be back!
We were very happy in the yurt :) You can fetch drinking water from the farm. It's recommended to bring a canister with you. We stayed for three nights and were even able to watch the cheese making and enjoy a delicious fondue. Very lovely and friendly!
Value for money isn't quite right. We would have expected more under "comfortable". - Positives: The host was nice, responded quickly, and was helpful, even though she was never personally on-site. The yurt is located in a beautiful, secluded spot, far away from the village, people, and noise. The view is phenomenal. // Negatives: No cooking facilities, no running drinking water, no real substantial meal options. The breakfast was tasty, but the coffee was cold every morning. Your own camping gear is necessary for a longer stay. 4x4 recommended for access. The "milking yourself" and "cheese making" activities were not much of an experience. The people were very nice, but the farm is extremely busy with work and we felt more like we were in the way. // Comparable offers provide significantly more for the same price!
Beautiful location and spacious Yourte! Leila and Stef were very helpful and such great hosts! Thank you
A wonderfully beautiful place in nature to relax, hike, and enjoy life. A heartfelt thank you to the hospitable and lovely hosts. We would love to come back.
Fantastic :) Great and very friendly hosts as well as the alpine team, very beautiful and warm yurt, in the morning you are woken up by the sunshine, cowbells, and the Valais mountain landscape, simply wonderful. We were able to watch Stefan make cheese and learned a lot about the Hérens (Eringer) cows. The breakfast and the homemade fondue were delicious. We had plenty of energy for the 6-7 hour hike to the reservoir along the bisse. The entire stay was simply perfect. Thank you very much for this great experience.
A trip to paradise!
