Aire Naturelle "Liberta" Savaggio - Montagne

Our expansive 5,500 m² 'Orchard' has been preserved as an 'Aire Naturelle'—meaning it remains as undeveloped as possible, yet features accessible paths, water, 220V electricity for small appliances, and a toilet. We have created terraces with plenty of space for hiking tents, large tents, or pitches for camper vans and cars with roof tents. The entire site is kept in its natural state, lush with ferns, Laricio pines, chestnut, walnut, and fruit trees. To the east, the terrain is bordered by a small forest stream and is fully fenced. The central meeting point is a wooden building with a covered terrace, offering views across the grounds and to the other side of the valley. It is equipped with a kitchenette and a sink. A shower and an additional washbasin are located in two separate, tiled cabins. The toilet is situated slightly apart and includes another washbasin. The covered terrace comfortably seats 10 people. The ground consists of grass and forest floor. The road is located above the site, ensuring a very quiet atmosphere. The train runs on the other side of the valley; you will see and hear it, but it only runs every 2 hours and does not operate at midday or at night. Access: The 'Tattone' stop is about a 15-minute walk away. The train also stops at the request stop 'Savaggio', which is a 10-minute walk. Please note: The drive from the road down to the site is relatively steep and rugged. The turn-off from the road can only be taken when coming from the direction of Canaglia, meaning you will usually need to turn around first and then drive back.
