Idyllically situated in complete seclusion, this spot offers space for campers, caravans, or cars with roof tents. The pitch is gravelled and naturally overgrown. Despite its private location, the site is easily accessible, with the B20 federal road and the A3 motorway just a few kilometers away. Electricity is available upon request for an additional fee. For groceries, you can find Edeka Moder in Bogen-Furth (approx. 8 km) or Edeka in Ascha (approx. 4 km). Within sight, there is an organic farm with a farm shop and a mill shop. About 2 km away is Bakery Wurm, which is also open on Sundays and serves as a lovely café. The area features numerous beautiful quarry ponds with sandy beaches and a swimming lake with a long water-skiing facility just a few kilometers away. The surroundings are perfect for hiking and cycling. Nearby excursions include Straubing (approx. 12 km) and Regensburg (approx. 45 km).

Winter access

Access via Steinach, Bärnzell is clear and drivable in winter. At our location (approx. 350m altitude), there is usually not much snow. The pitches are located right next to the access road and are easily accessible. The ground is gravelled and naturally overgrown. Just a few meters from the pitch, there is a small sledding hill that is very popular whenever there is snow.

Just like last time, we received a very warm welcome and had a wonderful, wonderfully quiet stay. We even had a few rabbits visiting, grazing on the meadow opposite and watching us with interest 😃. If the opportunity arises, we would love to come back.
