At our winery high up the mountain, right next to SCHLOSS SAALECK castle, we have created beautiful pitches (7 in total) for campers with stunning panoramic views of the Rhön mountains. On the plateau, you will be parked on a firm, stony surface. Upon request, self-sufficient campers can also stay privately right in the vineyard. We provide access to a toilet and washing facilities at our winery building. Electricity is available for an additional fee. At the site, we have a 24/7 self-service 'Wine & Snack Shack'. You can access this via a free app to purchase our organic wines, Secco, non-alcoholic drinks, beer, sausages, canned bread, cheese, spreads, farmhouse ice cream, and much more. A large terrace with garden furniture, fire pits, and a vine arbor is also available for your use. Our organically farmed vineyards are just 200m from the pitches, and numerous hiking trails invite you to explore the surrounding nature. Dogs are also very welcome! Access: The approach involves a partly single-lane road up the mountain, but there are passing places. The hairpins are manageable for vehicles up to 12m in length and weighing up to 18t.
