Camping in the Emmental

The camp is located directly next to the pasture of our boarding horses and ponies. Here, you can not only pet the horses but also enjoy the most beautiful views of the Bernese Oberland Alps or the sunset. The camp is situated 150m from the farm on a rarely used gravel road. On your 'little meadow,' a fire pit and table also await you. At the farm, you'll find fresh water, a latrine, and a shower. You might even meet another guest there. We have four camps, all generously spaced across our land, offering plenty of privacy. The many animals, all living free-range, are particularly exciting for children. The opportunities for hikes and bike tours from here are vast. Wild Herb Walk: By reservation, we offer a walk with the 'herb witch,' where you'll discover edible wild herbs from the farm, including a small tasting. Available on Sunday mornings from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM or other times upon request. 50 CHF per person / max. 6 people.

Location with an extraordinary view, though it would be nice if the pitches were a bit flatter. Suzanne is friendly and very welcoming, and the farm products are of excellent quality.
As always, a wonderful experience staying there! The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Thank you so much!
Nice pitch with good facilities. Toilets, showers, and washbasins are all within a convenient distance. Trees providing shade would be a plus. Especially this summer, it was unbearable on the pitch with a simple tent. We ended up moving into the nearby woods.

What can I say… it was a dream staying with Susanne! 🤩 The view from our spot was breathtaking and everything we needed was just a short walk away on the farm. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day earlier than planned, but we will definitely be back!
Great farm with lots of animals. The pitches are very nicely laid out and spaced far apart, so you have plenty of privacy. We would love to come back!!!
