A cabin in the heart of the forest. No electricity. No running water. No cell service... This is the perfect place for everyone to take a break from everyday life! Our Gielerhütte is a charming A-frame cabin surrounded by trees, a stream, and endless nature. As a result, the cabin offers a completely new experience of living in the wild, far away from any luxury. Nevertheless, there is plenty to experience in the immediate vicinity. Take your time to go hiking, cycling, and enjoy the traditional Upper Palatinate 'Zoigl' beer culture. The Gielerhütte is located directly on the famous Sculpture Trail—a beautiful circular hiking path featuring works by various artists exploring the themes of 'Time,' 'Destination,' and 'Path.' The cabin is also ideal for families, with plenty of space to relax, run around, and play. The animals at the neighboring farm also look forward to your visit. Similarly, the cabin is perfect for celebrations, as there are no direct neighbors. The cabin accommodates approximately 8 people, though more guests can stay if you bring tents. Parking is available about 300 meters from the cabin. Depending on weather conditions and if your vehicle is suitable, you may be able to drive right up to the cabin. However, please always check the path first before attempting to drive up.
