The site is located at the edge of a small commercial area (work stops here after 10 PM). Since the area is situated on a hill, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the small town of Marienheide. In Marienheide itself, there are many sights to see and plenty to discover, as well as ample shopping opportunities. Two reservoirs are located nearby, reachable on foot in about 25 minutes. The surrounding area is filled with forests, meadows, and country lanes, offering numerous hiking possibilities. The entrance to the pitch is gravelled, while the rest of the area is grass, surrounded by trees and shrubs.

Access to water is available, but it's located in the hall, so it's only accessible when we are on-site. We can also provide electricity for you, but only upon request; normally, we don't supply it. You are welcome to use our fire pit, as well as our grill. We usually keep the grill behind our hall on the paved terrace or in the wood shed. There's plenty of space on the terrace, so feel free to sit there and relax!

In about 25 minutes, you can reach one of the two dams (both approximately a 25-minute walk away). In just 30 minutes on foot, you'll be in the heart of Marienheide. Hiking trails, also perfect for cycling, start right around the corner.

Great! Unfortunately, the bushes/trees are no longer there - so there's no real privacy screen, but otherwise very straightforward and quiet. Would love to come back!

It's in a commercial area, so obviously it's not really quiet, but towards the evening it usually is 😊 Super straightforward and a very friendly man who owns the meadow. A trash can is also available.
