Nestled by the Gigerwald reservoir, right next to the Tamina river in the Calfeisen Valley (SG), you'll find our 700-year-old Walser settlement, complete with a restaurant and an alpine hotel. We warmly welcome campers to this little paradise! IMPORTANT: Your stay includes mandatory dining at our restaurant (a delightful 3-course dinner in the evening and a breakfast buffet). Let us pamper you while you sleep soundly in your own bed! IMPORTANT: Half-board (dinner/breakfast) costs CHF 70.00 per adult and CHF 50.00 per child up to 12 years old.
50% of the overnight stay price (excluding tourist taxes) will be credited towards the half-board! Half-board is settled on-site (card payment possible).
ATTENTION: Access through the tunnels is only possible for vehicles up to 2.60m in height!
A toilet is available 24 hours a day. Electricity hook-up can also be provided upon request. A shared shower on the floor can also be used in the main building.
The cost of your overnight stay includes the pitch, use of toilets, shower, and electricity hook-up.
Sauna, hot tub, etc., can be booked on-site for an additional charge.

The cutoff is the latest check-in time of this spot — not midnight. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. This place feels like the Shire and Rivendell combined. The paths are lit with fairy lights in the evening, and you can hear the gentle sound of the river from the pitch. With the half-board option, you get a good, delicious breakfast buffet. We are looking forward to our next visit!
