Discover our spacious orchard meadow (approx. 3500m²) right in the heart of Apolda, the 'Bell City,' where we offer a charming pitch for campers. Nestled beside our garden, you'll find the serene rectory garden and its beautiful Catholic church. Our pitch is ideally located close to the city center, yet it provides a peaceful retreat. The vibrant city center, two scenic promenades, and excellent shopping opportunities are all within easy walking distance.
You're welcome to enjoy our natural orchard meadow for relaxation, meditation, yoga, or simply unwinding. We mow the entire meadow only once a year, but various paths and areas are regularly maintained for your comfort. A cozy beach chair is also available for your use. We provide sheltered parking for your car (without a caravan) and bicycles.
We live and work on the property ourselves. Art enthusiasts will love visiting our own studio, as well as the regionally renowned Kunsthaus Apolda. For even more culture and sights, the cities of Jena and Weimar are just about 14 km away. The entire Weimarer Land region boasts abundant nature, fantastic hiking trails, and a well-developed network of cycling paths. A visit to the Toskana Therme in Bad Sulza (approx. 10 km away) is also highly recommended.

The Napoleon Cycle Path runs right through Apolda, and you can easily access the Ilmtal Cycle Path and the Thuringian City Chain Cycle Path from here. A multitude of hiking trails in and around Apolda are clearly signposted, inviting you to explore! For those passionate about art and culture, vibrant cities like Jena and Weimar (approx. 14 km away) are just a short trip. Apolda itself boasts an outdoor pool and an indoor swimming pool, and for ultimate relaxation, the Tuscany Therme in Bad Sulza is only about 12 km away. Feel free to ask us for more details!

We had a pleasant evening in the beautiful garden with plenty of seating and spent a quiet night. The Liebeskind family is very friendly and explained everything clearly. We would gladly come back anytime and warmly recommend them.

A very beautiful pitch in a large garden, right in the heart of Apolda. Good public transport links to Weimar and Erfurt. Kind and friendly hosts. Toilet access and power supply for small devices are available. Highly recommended for those seeking peace and quiet who want to explore the area by bus and train.
Dear Liebeskind family, Thank you very much for the lovely pitch and the really pleasant communication. It was a relaxing stay, also thanks to the straightforward access to the pleasantly clean toilet. Everything in Apolda is within walking distance, the garden is a dream – a truly recommendable spot.
The pitch is in the courtyard, asphalted – not on the meadow orchard. The orchard is beautiful and you can walk through it. Unfortunately, that's not where the pitch is located, so there wasn't a nice view. The yard where you park was fine, quiet, and safe. The toilet could be used, but you had to ring the bell. An on-board toilet is useful if you don't want to disturb the owner at night. The owner was very nice. For one night, if you are self-sufficient, it is perfectly fine. The well-kept town of Apolda has a very nice "promenade" with a lake, which is great for walking the dog.

This was a truly wonderful apple orchard where we were able to camp for two very quiet and lovely nights with very friendly hosts. Thank you so much!
