What is that?

Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.

The Rischbühl parking area is ideally located on both the Kaiserstuhlpfad and the Bienenfresserpfad (European Bee-eater trail), making it the perfect starting point for hikes throughout the Kaiserstuhl region. The entrance to the Bickensohler Lösshohlwegepfad (Loess Hollow Way trail) is also just a few meters away. Caravans are very welcome at our pitches, provided they are self-sufficient and do not require external infrastructure. Please note that electricity and sanitary facilities are not available at our municipal pitches. If these requirements are not met, overnight stays in caravans are not permitted. Access is via Achkarren towards Bickensohl. Follow the road uphill; at a sharp bend, you will find the turn-off for the 'P Rischbühl' parking area (signposted). Please follow the signs to the parking lot. According to the local statutes of the town of Vogtsburg i.K., all non-residents staying in the municipality are required to register and pay a tourist tax. The tax (€2.00 per person aged 15 and over, or €1.00 for children) is paid directly during the booking process. Upon payment, you will receive the KONUS Guest Card, which offers numerous discounts and allows you to use buses and trains for free throughout the entire region. You can collect your guest card at the Vogtsburg Citizen and Guest Information Center. The Citizen and Guest Information Center is currently open as follows: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Saturday: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Two charging stations for electric cars are located at the town hall in Vogtsburg-Oberrotweil (Bahnhofstraße 20). In front of the Tourist Information office, you will also find three free charging stations (each with 2 sockets) for e-bikes or small electronic devices (e.g., mobile phones). These charging stations can be used for a maximum of 12 hours; please remember to bring your own charger. Free public Wi-Fi is available at the town hall in Vogtsburg-Burkheim, Mittelstadt 7, where public restrooms are also located. The Vogtsburg waste disposal and fresh water station is located right next to the Oberrotweil swimming pool and is available for use for a small fee.

The cutoff is the latest check-in time set for this spot — not the end of the calendar day. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. *TIP* Bickensohl Loess Hollow Ways Trail - Length: 7 km On this circular hike, you'll discover everything about the formation and maintenance of the hollow ways. Around Bickensohl, some of the most impressive loess hollow ways in the entire Kaiserstuhl region are clustered. The Loess Hollow Ways Trail connects these on an attractive circular route of just under 7 km. Seventeen information panels provide extensive details on the topic of loess, the formation and care of the hollow ways, the fascinating communities living in the loess walls, and the terraced vineyards. Of course, the pure hiking experience should not be overlooked. That's why you'll find no information panels on some sections of this local themed trail, but instead, fascinating views and comfortable hiking paths.

Nice spot surrounded by vineyards, away from the town. There is a table with a bench and a lovely view. Considering that you pay a tourist tax, having a trash can would be nice. Price €8.78
