Our tent and caravan pitch is located just above our garden on our private property, right in the heart of Mengersgereuth-Hämmern in the Frankenblick municipality. Picturesquely nestled among forested ridges in the midst of nature, it offers a peaceful escape far from traffic noise, yet remains easily accessible by bus, car, and the South Thuringia Railway. Set on the grounds of a charming former small farm with views of the surrounding mountain slopes, our property features a spacious garden with various seating areas and barbecue facilities, which you are more than welcome to share and enjoy. Within a short walking distance of about 500m, you will find several shops for your daily needs, a playground, a pharmacy, medical practices, a bank, bus stops, and the train station. In summer, the numerous hiking and cycling trails around the village offer pure relaxation and rejuvenation in the fresh forest air. In winter, you'll find ideal conditions for extensive cross-country skiing on 50 km of groomed trails. For alpine enthusiasts, the slopes of the Silbersattel Ski Arena in Steinach are only about 4 km away. In the nearby 'Toy Town' of Sonneberg, you can visit the Toy Museum, relax at the SonneBad, feed sharks at the Sea Aquarium, or admire the world's smallest and largest teddy bears at the German Teddy Bear Museum.
