A dream location to find peace and unwind. The property is beautifully situated with a wonderful view. I especially loved watching the sunrise and sunset. Since the property isn't fully fenced, a small area was specially fenced off so my two dogs could roam freely. The bungalow is well-equipped and cozy. And the owners are very helpful and checked in every now and then to see if we needed anything. We would love to come back!

Lovely cabin, all the essentials are provided. Very nice and attentive host. Quiet location. Lots of attractions and hiking opportunities in the surrounding area. We will definitely come back.

Andreas and Lea were very kind and attentive hosts. Andreas stopped by every now and then to check on us and see if we needed anything, and both were able to give great recommendations for activities and excursions in the area. The mini-golf course is also highly recommended. The location is very quiet and everything you need for daily life is available on-site. We would like to say a big thank you and can highly recommend the stay.

The accommodation is in an excellent location surrounded by nature. There are many beautiful hiking trails nearby. It is very quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The furnishings are simple but cozy – especially with the fireplace. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We are happy that our dogs are welcome.

We stayed 4 days in Schmiedefeld. The accommodation is incredibly cozy and we loved it immediately upon arrival. A wood-burning stove makes the bungalow comfortably warm. The large covered terrace with a magnificent view over the Thuringian Forest is also very nice. The surroundings are beautiful for hiking. In bad weather, a visit to the Morassina show mine in the village is worthwhile. Thanks to our lovely hosts.
