The site is beautiful. Unfortunately, our host Thomas was unreachable by both message and phone. As a result, we were denied access to the toilets and drinking water. We were lucky to meet the Monday boules group, who were very friendly and gave us access to the parish hall.

Great, right in the middle of a hospitable village and yet all to ourselves. Thank you for the trust in opening your community center to us! We had a wonderful time in Oestereiden!

Pitches and sanitary facilities in good and clean condition. Unfortunately, I only received an initial response to my email contact. Subsequently, no further replies came. At night, you can hear the country road/highway.

The place is very well maintained. The lawn is beautifully soft and the fire pit is pleasantly large. There are benches and tables available. Thomas is nice and accommodating, maybe a little bit scatterbrained (he mixed up our arrival day, but that wasn't a problem).

Everything went wonderfully. Nice and straightforward communication. Beautiful, quiet spot with the option to make a fire.
