An adventure of a very special kind! Do you want to spend time secluded in nature? Or are you hiking the Renchtalsteig trail and looking for a camp in the wilderness? Then you've come to the right place! Our trekking camp is located far from main roads. Here you can completely escape your daily stress and truly relax! Our camp is only accessible on foot. You can park your car on our farmyard. From there, it's just a 10-minute walk. A holiday without luxury, in a natural and authentic way! That's what we offer! Our trekking camp features a fire pit and a composting toilet. A small stream with fresh, clear spring water* is located a 15-minute walk from our camp. Our camp offers space for three tents. The platforms are 4 x 4 meters in size. Our services include: * Barbecue area at the trekking camp * Composting toilet * Small stream with fresh spring water * Fresh produce available for purchase in our farm shop * Bread and rolls from our own bakery Upon request: * We are happy to prepare a breakfast, snack, or barbecue basket for you.

You can cancel up to 3 days before the latest check-in time on the arrival day. The refund includes the booking amount minus 1.5x the displayed Nomady fee. The cutoff is the latest check-in time of this spot — not midnight. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. Cancellations are only accepted via the designated cancellation tool. Verbal or written agreements cannot be taken into account. You can find out how to cancel in our FAQs.

Rules

Overnight stays and camping are permitted only on one of the three platforms.

Respect nature and its flora, be considerate of people, animals, and the environment.

Fires are strictly permitted only at the designated fire pit. In cases of elevated wildfire risk (level 3), the fire pit will be closed for your safety.

For your fire, please use only the wood provided in the wood box. Cutting down trees is strictly prohibited.

Please note that the use of the camp is at your own risk. We cannot be held liable for any potential damages resulting from the nature of the forest, particularly from falling branches or trees. Extra caution is advised, especially after severe weather and storms. The right to access the property does not create any additional duties of care or safety obligations. Specifically, we are not liable for typical dangers inherent to nature.

Please note that our forest paths are for pedestrians only; vehicles are not permitted. Access to the camp is exclusively on foot. The surrounding orchards and fields are still actively farmed, so we kindly ask you not to pick or harvest any produce.

The second stage of the Renchtalsteig trail starts right at our camp, along with two circular hiking routes: the Needle-Gin-Pfad and the Oppenauer. Whether you're looking for a long trek or a short stroll, you can start your adventure directly from the site. Our trails are also excellent for mountain biking. Plus, with your guest card, you can enjoy free travel on buses and trains, as well as free entry to our local outdoor pool (just a 20-minute walk away).

Wonderful camp surrounded by beautiful nature! We received a warm welcome, the breakfast is fantastic, there is a handcart for transport, and a farm shop with all sorts of homemade items. We would love to come back!

Despite our last-minute booking, the Kimmig family took wonderful care of us and prepared a beautifully presented snack platter and breakfast. It is a gorgeous location, especially by the nearby stream! We would love to come back.
