Along a beautiful dry stone wall on a high plateau with fantastic panoramic views all the way to the Vosges Mountains, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. You might hear the cattle with their bells grazing nearby, or a bumblebee buzzing past... The sunsets are just as magical as the summer storms rolling by. Only for self-contained campers with their own toilet. Organic breakfast available for CHF 22 per person upon booking (payment on site in cash or via Twint). Hot tub: CHF 250 per use (please reserve upon booking). Since we only host a maximum of 3 parties at a time, you will have this wonderful spot almost entirely to yourself.

Rules

Please avoid walking on the meadow when the grass is tall.

Please collect all your rubbish. (The cows and we will be very grateful!)

If you don't have a camping toilet, please use the facilities in the guesthouse. No toilet paper on the pastures or in the forest.

The camp is situated at 1,250 meters above sea level. In winter, snow is common; while the road is cleared regularly, it is not cleared down to the pavement. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

A beautiful and quietly located overnight spot in the Bernese Jura with a fantastic panoramic view. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and warm, making you feel welcome right away. We particularly enjoyed the opportunity to buy farm-grown meat directly on-site – a great addition to the stay. We would love to come back and can recommend this place without reservation!

Very nice and quiet pitch up in the hills. Wonderful view. Ideal for unwinding, hiking, or biking. Highly recommended, we had a very nice stay on the Probstenberg and will definitely go back again.
