Numerous beautiful hiking and cycling trails around Bad Berleburg invite you to exciting adventures. The Rothaarsteig is certainly the most famous among them. Also not far away, you'll find the Kapplerstein climbing rock (approx. 3 km). However, you'll need to bring your own equipment here. Additionally, you can go fishing at Rösper Weiher, about 8 km away. From September onwards, it's rutting season, and you can listen to the stags in the forest or even spot some!

I stayed at Lisa's on both the outward and return legs of my trip. I really enjoyed my stay both times, and everything was as described. The self-service coffee is great, and the breakfast is also delicious and highly recommended.
A very lovingly furnished cafe; the outdoor area in particular invites you to linger. I arrived late in the evening and was able to pick out a nice spot.
We stayed with Lisa and her team with our motorcycles and a tent. We were personally greeted by Lisa, who explained everything and was available for questions at any time. We really enjoyed it and were completely satisfied. The landscape and surroundings are beautiful—a quiet location with no traffic, and a stream and ponds in the immediate vicinity. For self-service, cold drinks and homemade cakes are available, with payment made via mobile phone. The breakfast was world-class, and the terrace is a wonderful place to sit. We were also allowed to use the grill, which has a table and chairs right next to it. Charcoal and fire starters were provided. We felt totally at home and will definitely be back. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night. Best regards to everyone. Peer, Roman, and Jochen 👍👋
It was a wonderful stay; the self-service restaurant in particular was highly recommended.
A great site with some lovely, innovative ideas. We had a wonderful time!
The Forellenhof is located in a very idyllic setting. Ideal for hiking. Everything was exactly as described. You can tell that it is important to Lisa and her sister that their guests feel comfortable. A special plus is the self-service café.
Great, varied pitches and the self-service café is a really nice feature based on total trust. Lisa is very kind and easy-going. Two thumbs up and highly recommended. 👍👍👍👍👍
