The surrounding woodland is a beautiful mix of deciduous and coniferous trees, featuring a small lake known as 'Teufelssee' (Devil's Lake) and a charming spring called 'Engelsquelle' (Angel's Spring). Despite the secluded feel, the train station, restaurants, and shops are all within easy walking distance.

A lovely spot and quite private considering it’s really not far from Berlin/Potsdam. We had no issues with mosquitoes as others have mentioned (late August) and the surroundings were nice to walk around in. Perhaps it was our poor timing (Saturday night before Einschulung), but the surroundings were very loud with fireworks. That was a pity.
