Located directly by the Great Aletsch Glacier, we offer spots for camping and bivouacking in the Valais Alps at the Oberaletsch Hut SAC. You must be physically fit to tackle the 3 to 5-hour hike from the Belalp cable car station. While the summer trail is well-accessible, caution is advised, especially at a few exposed sections. The ascent is well worth it and is sure to be an unforgettable experience. Drinks, snacks, and meals can be ordered at the hut during specific times. NOT accessible by vehicle. An absolutely brilliant idea! We had a fantastic night, the food was good, and despite having half-board, I was able to spontaneously order just soup. We can highly recommend the stay, especially for couples looking to create lasting memories. We would also like to give a special thanks to the hut assistant (unfortunately we don't know his name); he was very understanding and accommodating! Thank you for an unforgettable weekend at the Oberaletsch! ❤️
