Our campsite is situated directly on the banks of the Danube, offering stunning views of the Aggstein castle ruins, and is widely considered one of the most beautiful spots in the Wachau region. Right on-site, you will find our newly built 'Genussterrasse' restaurant with a terrace overlooking the river. The lower level of the restaurant houses state-of-the-art shower and toilet facilities. The paved towpath along the Danube is perfect for relaxing strolls. Other highlights include the sunbathing lawn right by the pitches, a natural swimming area with a wonderful sandy beach, a children's playground featuring a new zip line, and a floodlit beach volleyball court. Accessible showers/WCs, as well as washing machines and dryers, are all barrier-free and easy to reach! We also offer unique cultural experiences. One of the world's oldest archaeological finds was discovered in our municipality: the Venus of Willendorf. The 'Venusium' museum looks forward to your visit (open weekends only).
