Camping on the Elbe

Auszeit auf dem Bauernhof

Germany-39164 Wanzleben-Börde
Our farm is very spacious, allowing us to offer a variety of pitches. You can choose to set up directly on the meadow, by the stable with a mix of sun and shade, or right by the riding arena in the heart of the farm.

I stayed here for two nights with my mini-camper. It's an ideal starting point for visiting Magdeburg. I recommend driving to a tram stop, e.g., P+R Endstelle Diesdorf (small parking lot, almost empty on Sundays, probably quite full on weekdays due to commuters) and exploring the city by tram, on foot, or by bike. A very large yard where you can always find a quiet pitch if you wish, even if several campers are there. Free choice of pitch, many options: grass or asphalt, right next to the toilet and shower or fire pit, or further away, with or without electricity. It was also good that there are two separate power connections that are very far apart. For a pitch on the grass, you need a long power cable. I was on asphalt and managed very well with a 10 m extension cable. At night it was absolutely quiet and dark. The not-so-small common room with a sink, water connection, refrigerator, electricity for small appliances, a large table, and chairs is also great. You can spend time there very comfortably in bad weather. In front of the common room, there is a large table-bench combination where you can easily prepare something on a gas stove. There were also nice conversations with the host. If I want to visit Magdeburg again, I would come back here. A clear recommendation from me!
