What is that?
Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.
At our cozy campsite in the Schlücht Valley, we offer sun-drenched pitches located just before the entrance gate. Guests are welcome to use the full range of campsite facilities. Alternatively, you can upgrade on-site to a pitch within the main grounds. As a special bonus, an overnight stay includes free access to the nearby swimming lake, just a short walk away. We are a family-run business and pour our hearts into everything we do. In addition to the campsite, we run a charming little bistro. Our peaceful location is the perfect place to unwind—relaxation is guaranteed. We look forward to welcoming you!

You can cancel up to 10 days before the latest check-in time on the arrival day. The refund includes the booking amount minus 1.5x the displayed Nomady fee. The cutoff is the latest check-in time of this spot — not midnight. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. Cancellations are only accepted via the designated cancellation tool. Verbal or written agreements cannot be taken into account. You can find out how to cancel in our FAQs.

Winter access
As we are located in the valley, the access road via Birkendorf is a bit steep in places, but quite manageable. For afternoon arrivals, the roads are usually cleared and salted. Feel free to call us beforehand, and we will gladly update you on the current road conditions.

Many of the toilets were under renovation. We did agree to pay €14 extra following the offer to place us inside the campsite where the pitch was larger. That day it was very cold with heavy rain—obviously, they aren't to blame for the weather—it was 5 degrees in the morning and barely 10 in the evening when we arrived. I asked if they could close up the sanitary facilities, at least the showers, but it wasn't done and they refused. Taking a shower in the cold isn't pleasant, and in my opinion, the showers weren't clean either. Sure, the water is hot, but when you step out of a shower and it's 10 degrees in the washroom, you can easily get sick, especially with a 4-year-old child. Maybe I'm a bit demanding, but for €42, I think it's expensive...
The campsite is still family-friendly and the playground is nice for kids. But because of these issues, we ended up leaving much earlier than planned at 6:30 in the morning...

A great spot in the forest. The contact was very friendly and uncomplicated. The campsite owners, Evelyne and Dimitri, are doing a fantastic job. Despite the place being fully booked, they were super relaxed, kind, flexible, and accommodating. We haven't experienced hospitality like this at any other campsite before. That's why we're giving it 5*****+++. We only stayed for one night, but we'd love to come back. It's a pity there isn't much shade. Thank you very much and best regards!
