The perfect getaway to escape the daily grind, unwind in a wonderful setting, and recharge your batteries. The surrounding area offers countless opportunities, with pure and unique nature all around. Depending on the season, you'll find wild raspberries, blueberries, and wild herbs for tea and cooking right by the pitch. Enjoying a secluded location directly on the forest edge, about 200 meters from the farm, the site is spacious enough to accommodate groups of friends or families. A fire pit with a small grill grate is provided; please gather firewood from the forest. Truly anything you enjoy doing outdoors is possible here: swimming in the Schluchsee or Schlüchtsee lakes, forest bathing, birdwatching, hiking, cycling, and much more. Nearby you'll find the famous Rothaus Brewery and the Black Forest 'House of the Senses' (Schwarzwaldhaus der Sinne) in Grafenhausen, as well as hiking trails for children. In winter, there is a small ski lift and a toboggan run right across the way. Shops such as a bakery, supermarket, and café are located in the neighboring village of Grafenhausen. The Rothaus Brewery is just a 20–25 minute walk away, where you can enjoy their famous Zäpfle beer along with delicious culinary highlights at the Rothaus Genusswelt. For tasty traditional Rösti with various toppings, be sure to visit the Speckhüsli.

We are big fans of self-sufficiency here! ;-) There is a fire pit with a small grill grate available. Please feel free to gather firewood in the forest or bring your own. In the shelter, you'll find a beer bench and an old Rothaus beer barrel—the perfect spot to settle in and enjoy a cozy meal.

Shopping facilities such as a bakery, supermarket, and café can be found in the nearby town of Grafenhausen, as well as in Schluchsee. The famous Rothaus Brewery is just a 20-25 minute walk away; there, you can enjoy the iconic 'Zäpfle' beer and a variety of culinary delights at the Rothaus Genusswelt. On your way there, you'll pass the Café & Restaurant Jägerklause and the Dorfstüble, which offers stunning Alpine views. Here, everything that makes the outdoors fun is truly possible. Go fishing or swimming at Lake Schluchsee or Lake Schlüchtsee, try 'forest bathing', bird watching, hiking, biking, and so much more. The Rothaus Brewery is nearby, and in the village of Grafenhausen, you'll find the Black Forest 'House of the Senses'. There are also special hiking trails for children. Right across the street in winter, you will find a small ski lift and a sledding run, as well as several trails for cross-country skiing and skating, depending on the snow conditions.

The site is in a wonderful location right next to the forest. We went on two lovely hikes, and the place is a great starting point for this. We had a truly relaxing time and would love to come back :-)

A wonderful, quiet pitch surrounded by nature. We really enjoyed the secluded location right on the edge of the forest. The site is spacious, idyllic, and offers plenty of room for children and a dog. The fire pit and the numerous activities in the surrounding area are especially great. If you are looking for peace, nature, and authenticity, this is the perfect place. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back!

Wonderful, quiet place in the middle of nature. We were at the wrong spot at first, as there is another site just before this one. Both are wonderful, quiet places!
