Here is what awaits you: A private, exclusive pitch just for you.
A very quiet and picturesque spot right by the edge of the forest, overlooking the village of Horben.
Nestled between two sturdy beech trees and a wild cherry tree, it's the perfect place to unwind.
Adjacent to a pasture with deer and cows.
All you hear is birdsong, and you can watch the RED KITE and other birds perform their aerial acrobatics.
Enjoy breathtaking, unobstructed panoramic views of the lush green landscape, the village of Horben, and our local mountain, the Schauinsland.
From the farm and along the path to the pitch, you will have a fantastic view across Freiburg and the surrounding area.
PURE PEACE AND QUIET, yet so close to the city of Freiburg (only 15 minutes by car)—a rare and truly unique combination. :)
For breakfast, you can order a selection of delicious breads and fresh rolls, as well as our own meats and sausages for the BBQ. We also offer various Black Forest specialties, jams, fresh eggs, juice, and more.
We have a full list available upon request.
In House No. 1 (in the stairwell), we have a display cabinet where you can pick up various items. Chilled products can be ordered directly from us and will be placed in the cabinet for you.
Firewood orders are also located at the yellow House No. 1, on the left behind the green tarp/carport.
Overall, it is a wonderful spot with both sun and shade.
E-BIKE RENTAL is also available: we have 2 e-mountain bikes, suitable for both road and forest trails.
BRAND NEW: We now have a BARREL SAUNA with a relaxation room to rest and unwind, also offering a wonderful, tranquil view of Freiburg right here on our farm grounds. Available for 2 to 8 people (approx. €17 to €28 per person).
Cool off with our own fresh spring water or take a dip in our private pond.

The camp is situated at an altitude of 600 meters (approx. 2,000 ft) above sea level, so there may occasionally be snow. Access by camper van is possible; equipped with winter tires and snow chains, a safe arrival is definitely guaranteed.

Hello! We offer fresh home-baked bread, traditional rolls, and Black Forest specialties for your breakfast, including local 'Landjäger' snack sausages, Lyoner, our own beef salami, and meats and sausages for the grill. We also provide fresh eggs, homemade jams, and more. Our products are available by pre-order or via our self-service farm shop (for select items); please ask us for more details. Guided one-hour horseback rides are available upon request. You can also rent two mountain e-bikes to explore the area, which is a renowned destination for mountain biking. For climbing enthusiasts, there are several spots nearby, with the Stäpfelefels/Todtnauerfels being the closest. The beautiful city center of Freiburg, famous for its iconic 'Bächle' canals, is just a stone's throw away. Another popular excursion is taking the Schauinsland cable car up to the summit of Freiburg's local mountain for breathtaking views.

The nearest ski slopes and cross-country trails are just a 25-minute drive away (approx. 18 km) on the Schauinsland mountain, at an altitude of 1,145m. The famous Feldberg (1,494m) is also within easy reach, about 45 minutes away. Enjoy snowshoeing on the Schauinsland or relax in our on-site barrel sauna (fits 2-8 people) featuring a relaxation room and stunning views over Freiburg and the surrounding area. Hiking trails start right at your doorstep. For family fun, children can go sledding right here on our hill, opposite the first camper site by the Steckenbühlkreuz.
