Your spot is located right next to the horse paddock (the horses are in the stable at night) under the shade of trees by a small stream. Here, you'll find horses 🐴, sheep, dogs, and a cat. There are also three gravel ponds nearby, perfect for a relaxing stroll 🚶🏼. If you don't mind the main road running behind the large trees about 80 meters from the pitch, you are very welcome here. Our village has 350 inhabitants, and the nearest town is just 1.5 kilometers away. There, you'll find shops, restaurants 🍽️, an outdoor pool, and the train station. Directly from the farm, you can set off on beautiful bike rides or hikes 🥾 along the 'Green Belt' (the former inner-German border). The Harz Mountains are only about 15 minutes away by car or train. If you're passing through on your way to the Harz or elsewhere, feel free to stop by. I look forward to meeting friendly travelers. Please keep your dogs on a leash and refrain from smoking on the property. Thank you! Notes

Access is via a small bridge, which may be a bit tricky depending on your vehicle's ground clearance and wheelbase. So far everyone has made it, and I'm happy to help if needed—so please get in touch upon arrival before crossing the bridge!

As you will be parking on a meadow, you should definitely have good tire tread or all-wheel drive in winter. Snow is not cleared, which means the pitch cannot be used when it snows! Be sure to bring good lighting with you in winter as well, as there is no direct light at the spot (electricity is available).

Enjoy short trips to the Harz Mountains, hike along the historic "Green Belt," or embark on river adventures (canoeing, or stand-up paddleboarding depending on water levels) heading north towards Braunschweig/Oker.

We had a wonderful weekend at Christine's farm and thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our camper van. Christine was an exceptionally kind and helpful host. Despite our somewhat late arrival and the rather challenging access road, she helped us arrive safely at the pitch. The pitch itself offers one thing above all: wonderful peace and quiet. The nearby main road is noticeable, but it didn't bother us at all. We particularly loved the surrounding area. From here, we were able to start directly on a great bike ride and explore the region. Shopping options were also easily accessible by bike. Unfortunately, we couldn't try the restaurant within walking distance, as it was closed for holidays during our stay. Whenever we had questions, Christine was always approachable and ready to help with advice and support. Thank you so much, Christine, for the wonderful hospitality and the lovely time at your place! Communication was very friendly and straightforward. The place was okay, but nothing more. Adequate for a stopover, but not really in a nice setting and rather noisy.
