Discover a dream pitch in absolute tranquility and seclusion, nestled near our charming farm. Here, you can hike, mountain bike, or simply revel in pure nature! Our pitch is situated at approximately 700m above sea level, right in the heart of the Black Forest, between Elztal and Freiamt. You'll find us directly on the Kandelhöhenweg and the Freiämter Panoramaweg.
You'll be parked in our farm's garden, where you can soak in the magnificent views.
We, the Gerber family, run this old farm. While we no longer engage in agriculture, we warmly welcome all guests eager to share our beautiful home :)

Your pitch is located directly on the Kandelhöhenweg and the Freiämter Panoramaweg. You're also connected to the 5-star hiking region of Zweitälerland and find yourselves in the mountain biking paradise of the Black Forest. If you're looking for a break from active holidays, it's just a stone's throw to the charming town of Emmendingen, and you can reach the university city of Freiburg in just 25 minutes.

We were received very warmly, the spot was easy to find and really beautiful. Depending on which direction you come from, the access road is a bit of a challenge.
Beautiful pitch with a wonderful view. Quite loud quite early on the first morning, but all the quieter on the second morning. Perfect spot for a night of shooting stars. The owners were very friendly. The arrival instructions from the owner were top-notch. We can recommend this place and will keep it in mind for our next trip to the Black Forest.
Very quit place with a beautifull view. You can easily start for a walk from the spot.
Very nice and uncomplicated pitch! Great starting point for walks.
It was a very pleasant stay and the contact was super friendly. I can recommend Dieter without reservation and we would love to come back. That fridge at the great viewpoint completely blew us away; as a result, the dog walk ended up being a bit shorter and the dog owners were quite 'tipsy' afterwards. All thumbs up.
