What is that?

Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.

The campervan pitch at the outdoor pool in Schönau im Schwarzwald is nestled in the heart of the Belchen Black Forest region. Conveniently located directly on the B317, it offers a safe and secure overnight stop for travelers passing through. Parking is exclusively permitted on the six designated pitches at the upper cemetery car park. Parking at the lower cemetery car park near the chapel is strictly prohibited. Illegally parked vehicles outside of the marked or signposted areas will be penalized. Right next to the pitch, you'll find the outdoor swimming pool, complete with a restaurant and a mini-golf course. Both facilities are open to non-pool guests as well. This pitch is perfectly situated as a starting point for hiking and cycling tours, as well as excursions of all kinds.

To ensure a peaceful environment for our neighbors, quiet hours are observed from 10 PM onwards. Please note that grilling is not permitted on the parking pitch.

You'll find no less than three bakeries in Schönau's town center (Gutmann Bakery, Heitzmann Bakery on Gentnerstraße, and Heitzmann Bakery in the Rewe supermarket). Additionally, Schönau boasts two supermarkets (Netto and Rewe) and a drugstore (Rossmann). For dining out, the nearest restaurants are also in Schönau's town center, including the former Gasthaus Ochsen (now Willi's Pfannenstüble), Restaurant Adria at the outdoor pool (accessible even to non-pool guests), the Pit-Stop club restaurant at the sports field, as well as Café Goldmann and Gutmann Bakery (offering lunch snacks). Butcher Krone also provides a daily lunch special on weekdays.

The Black Forest region of Belchen is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise. Here, almost anything is possible! An extensive network of hiking and cycling trails opens up the Southern Black Forest, connecting the holiday region between Belchen and Feldberg. Outdoor lovers will find their bliss with the via ferrata in Todtnau, or the swimming lakes at Nonnenmattweiher, Windgfällweiher, Titisee, and Schluchsee. Well-known excursions in the region also include the 1,414-meter-high local mountain Belchen, the Todtnau Waterfall with the 'blackforestline' – a 450-meter-long suspension bridge over the Todtnau Waterfalls – or the Coaster Bahn at Hasenhorn in Todtnau. Upon presentation of your booking confirmation, guests in the Black Forest region of Belchen receive the KONUS Guest Card, allowing you to travel for free by bus and train throughout the entire Black Forest, so you can easily leave your four-wheeled vehicle behind. Close to the swimming pool. A power connection would be great; I searched in vain for an e-bike charging station in town.

Simple, hassle-free on-site booking is possible. The busy adjacent main road is very quiet at night, and the view of the Black Forest slopes is wonderful.

Nice place next to a very nice swimmingpool. The parkingplaces are to small and the road is a little bit noisy but for me a fine place to spent the night.
