Here is some information to help you settle in and a few important rules—please read through them carefully. NO OPEN FIRES, NO FIRE PITS. Since your pitch is directly adjacent to an agricultural building where we store highly flammable goods, we CANNOT allow any fires. Failure to comply will result in immediate removal from the site. However, you are welcome to cook using your own gas stove or gas grill. Simply no charcoal or wood fires. Regarding your spot, you can use a lovely shaded area under the trees in the meadow about 20m ahead for your deck chairs. On our farm, in the immediate vicinity of the pitch, there is a turkey pasture. The animals are mostly quiet and there is no significant odor that would disturb you. Please be careful with dogs and keep them on a lead. Directly next to the pitch, there is a rotating crop growing—this could be spelt, wheat, rapeseed, barley, or silage maize. For this reason, please always keep the area clean so that we can produce healthy food. Our clean toilet is located at the farm shop building, 50m from the pitch; it is open day and night. It is shared with farm shop customers and cleaned daily. You will also find a washing machine and water there. If you wish to do laundry, you can do so for a small fee. For electricity, we provide a standard 230V cable reel on-site; electricity is billed separately. Depending on the season, there is a lot of field work on my farm. It is possible that you might be woken up by a tractor (not before 8:00 AM) when I go to feed the chickens, for example... but normally it is extremely quiet here. We also live on the farm, and since I work very early every morning in the farm bakery, I have to go to bed quite early. It is very important to me that we observe quiet hours starting from 8:00 PM. Please be mindful of this so that I can continue to share my unique home with campers in the future :-) My farm shop has a lot to offer... you will find frozen farm-raised poultry, turkey, pork, and beef. We also have vegetables, salads, and fruit, as well as specialties and, above all, many baked goods. Fresh bread and rolls daily, and on Saturdays, freshly baked butter zopf made from our own grain. We also have a self-service coffee machine for cappuccinos, etc. Cold drinks and various regional ice creams are available, along with yogurts from the dairy, delicious fresh milk, butter, and various alpine cheeses. :-)

A quick 5-minute bike ride takes you to our local lakeside swimming area, which offers free entry and includes toilets and showers. There is even a raft to swim out to! The water is shallow at the shore, though a bit stony at first, making it an ideal spot for children to enjoy the lake. The area is also perfect for cycling and hiking, with many quiet lanes and routes to explore. For a bit of pampering, the Deltapark Wellness Center is just 10 minutes away by bike, offering both day passes and hourly entry.
